The members of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars live by the motto, “Honor the 

dead by helping the living.” We set out to serve the veterans of this country and our communities as a 

testament to the sacrifices and commitment of every man and woman who has served in uniform.

Let your voices be heard on Capitol Hill.

Let your hands serve those in need.

Dear Sisters of Texas,

Believe it or not here we are in another Ladies Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars year!  And, are we ready to get started on our Programs? Of course, we are always ready and willing to work for our Veterans and their Families.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

You are all a part of the "Continue to Care for Our Veterans" Team and a very important part of it. Without each Auxiliary, each member, each officer -Past and Present- we would not be able to continue with our programs, and these programs are geared for our Veterans.

Be sure to read your Program Book many times during the year, You do not want to overlook one item that needs to be worked on. Awards are wonderful but the feeling you receive in your heart for the volunteering you do is remarkable.

As you all know, I'm not big on speeches, but wanted you to know that I am here to assist in an way possible. If you can't get in touch with me for some reason, please feel free to call the Department Office as they will know where I am at all times.

Our Nation Presidents theme "It Time For America's Military Heroes" works hand in hand with mine- so our Team will stay on top all year as we express our thanks and gratitude to our wonderful Veterans  that have made our wonderful country FREE!
